CAREERSOURCE CHIPOLA ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF 2016 ROBOTICS COMPETITION. The Ninth Annual Robotics Competition, Load Logistics, sponsored by CareerSource Chipola and Opportunity Florida was held on March 22, 2016 at the old Marianna High School Gym. Eighteen teams of students from our five county region competed against each other using student designed and built robots.
Team Flappie of Altha took home first place for the robotics, log book, and high score portions of the contest. Team Autobot of Cottondale High received the Sportsmanship Award, and Chemical Kidz of Chipley High School were awarded the Most Unique Design. For a full list of this years winners, click here.

Nursing and welding students at Chipola College will now be honing their skills and developing their trade on brand new, state of the art equipment, thanks to a strong partnership with CareerSource Chipola. CAREERSOURCE CHIPOLA SPONSORS 15TH ANNUAL YOUTH CAREER FAIR. CareerSource Chipola was proud to sponsor a career fair for local high school students on Tuesday, November 10th. The annual event, held at Eastside Baptist Church in Marianna, serves to introduce area students to a variety of career options in industries such as robotics and engineering, military service, law enforcement & corrections, finance, medicine, energy, welding, cosmetology, automotive service, and more. Nearly 1,000 youth attended the event and spent time exploring occupations and colleges, and networking with employers. CareerSource Chipola serves as the primary sponsor, in association with Chipola College; Florida Panhandle Technical College; and Calhoun, Holmes, Jackson, Liberty, and Washington County School Districts.
