Utility Technician

Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm unless duties require you to come in early or stay late due to unforeseen circumstances.

Education, Training and Experience:  Graduation from a standard high school or GED; one (1) year experience in performing moderate to heavy manual labor preferably in the utility service arena; or any combination of training or experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
 
Special Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Florida driver license.
  • Must secure a class B commercial driver license within 90 days of employment.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of modern principles, practices, and techniques utilized for the installation, repair and maintenance of various aspects of gas utility systems.
  • Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
  • Demonstrates skill in the use of required tools and equipment.
  • Ability to learn in house computer software programs.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English.
  • Ability to perform heavy manual work and to work out of doors under adverse weather conditions.

Hospice Aide

As a Hospice Aide, you will:

  • Perform various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patients personal needs, to promote the patients comfort, and a safe environment, in accordance with an established physician plan of care and under the supervision of a registered nurse case manager or other professional as dictated by state.
  • Observe patients and report/document these observations and the services provided.
  • Work with family/caregiver/and interdisciplinary team members to meet the emotional needs of the patient/family/caregiver.

Required Skills / Qualifications

  • Completion of recognized Nurse Assistant certification program
  • Minimum of one-year direct patient care experience in an institutional, hospice or home care setting
  • Skilled in the proper technique for lifting and transferring patients

Tractor Operator

Days/Hours: Monday - Friday (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am)

However, days will be increased so applicants must be flexible with weekend work as well.   
Job should last until around mid December.
  • Operating tractors and pulling trailers

Warehouse Manager

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Manage all aspects of Distribution Center and On-site Commissary(ies) in providing commissary operations and services to assigned locations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain working knowledge of all phases of KCN
  • Manage all aspects of supervising, training, scheduling and disciplining Full-Time and Part-Time managers/supervisors, stockers, shipping staff, drivers, and commissary staff for assigned KCN locations
  • Manage and accountable for all aspects of on-site inventory control including ordering, receiving, stocking product, and processing orders
  • Ensure all employees know and follow all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the warehouse
  • Open and close facility as directed
  • Ensure all credited product is returned back into inventory properly
  • Perform and report weekly audit of high security items
  • Monitor and keep track of warehouse labor costs
  • Process and manage the administration of weekly time sheets for submission to payroll and maintain attendance calendars and employee files for staff
  • Perform required Employee Performance Reviews for employees (30-day, 90-day, annual)
  • Maintain all KCN areas/equipment/products in a neat, clean, and orderly manner
  • Maintain and insure all employees follow the policies and procedures outlined in the KCN Best Business Practices Guide at all times
  • Complete miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned by Group VP / KCN Regional Manager

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor"s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
